Taxis are ready to go at all times outside both terminals.

If you're arriving at the airport, you'll pull up to the curb directly in front of T1 or T2, steps from the check-in desks. 

You'll also find taxi dispatchers outside both terminals who are happy to help with whatever you need.

As a passenger, you're entitled to: 

  • Take a taxi for journeys up to 30km.

  • Have all fares calculated using the taxi meter.

  • A taximeter receipt.

  • A clean vehicle and a pleasant journey.

Taxis must also show passenger rights and responsibilities, fare information, and the driver's taxi license.

The taximeter sets the fare depending on distance, day, and time.

  • Monday-Saturday, between 8am-8pm: Standard rate of €1.32/km

  • Days and hours outside of the above: €1.81-2.20/km.

At rates of €1.32-2.20/km, depending on time and day:

  • Dublin City: €30-45

  • Heuston Station: €40-50

  • Busáras: €25-40
