Taxi Stand Operations

The purpose of the taxi operation at Dublin Airport is to provide a high quality taxi service to passengers travelling through Dublin Airport. 

Dublin Airport is committed to working in conjunction with taxi service providers to ensure the highest service standards are delivered and enjoyed by passengers at Dublin Airport.

Please note all taxi drivers operating within the taxi system at Dublin Airport must comply with the requirements, service levels and procedures outlined in the Taxi Operations Manual.

Taxi Permits

Dublin Airport taxi permits are a requirement for taxi drivers wishing to operate from the taxi stands at Dublin Airport.

Existing permit holders may re-apply for a permit, make a payment for a permit, or update their contact details via the Permit Portal:

Please read through our 2022 Driver Manual to familiarise yourself with the Terms & Conditions and also the minimum requirements needed to apply and operate as a taxi driver at Dublin Airport. To apply for a permit, please read the daa Statement, which outlines the process involved and how you can apply. 

The minimum requirement for new permit holders post 2016 to operate at Dublin Airport, please see below.

  • Wheelchair accessible vehicle
  • Minimum license to carry 5 passengers
  • Mandatory provision of credit card payment options to all customers
